Brazilian journalist João Henrique Marques recorded a video footage which suggests all trace of Neymar removed from the Paris Saint-Germain club shop, although the Brazilian’s more deluded fans could conceivably argue the player is simply so popular that everything bearing his name and image has sold out and staff can’t keep up with demand.

Neymar’s next destination remains unclear, and speculations surrounding his future continues to swirl. Real Madrid and Barcelona are duking it out for his services, le10sport in France reports that PSG would quite like to get the Catalan club’s striker Ousmane Dembélé in part exchange.

The Sun also reports that Real Madrid will stop hitching their skirts at the Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba if they succeed in signing the Brazilian and will offer PSG their pick of James Rodríguez, Isco, Raphaël Varane or Marcelo in order to convince PSG to accept their offer for their star man.

Other reports suggests that Zinedine Zidane wants Pogba and could resign as Real Madrid boss if they fail to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United, which has only increased the lack of confidence between him and Florentino, according to Diego Torres.

“Not signing Pogba puts Zidane on the brink of resigning,” Torres, who works for El Pais, told the Independent. Zidane personally promised Pogba he would bring him to Madrid, and now he is left looking bad,” Said Torres.

Madrid are desperate for another galactico deal this summer and have been desperate to land Pogba. But now it appears they are ready to end their interest if they can beat Barcelona to Neymar.

Goal reports that, Barcelona have sent a delegation including technical manager Eric Abidal together with Javier Bordas, and Andre Cury have flown to France for talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Neymar and are ready to offer Phillipe Coutinho plus €100m to sign the Brazilian.

Neymar wants to quit PSG but so far Barcelona have been unable to agree a deal and Real Madrid could now swoop in.

The Brazilian’s next destination can be seen if a transfer can be finalised before the transfer window closes in Spain on September 2 but it’s certain to be an intriguing battle as Barca and Madrid go head-to-head.
